Brad Brach (born April 12, 1986) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the San Diego Padres. Brach was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 42nd round of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft. He was called up to the majors for the first time on August 31, 2011.
He made the Padres 2012 opening day roster, replacing an injured Tim Stauffer. Brach throws mostly just two pitches: a four-seam fastball at 90-94 mph and a slider at 80-85. Occasionally, he adds a splitter to lefties.
Orioles recalled RHP Brad Brach from Triple-A Norfolk. Advice : Brach has allowed three runs over 1 2/3 innings while up with the big club this season. He'll work in middle relief.
